Our History…
Eager to start a family business, twin sisters Danielle and Kirsty launched Hair On High Street in 2016 along with their mum, Carolyn.
"With maritime history in our early beginnings in Coromandel, we saw the empty Union Steamship Company building for lease in High Street, and it seemed perfectly suited to launch our own salon!
"Lots of hard work with a true love and passion for what we do and here we are, a family team growing daily, with amazing support from our additional personnel in hair and beauty services."
Hair On High Street's company ethos is centred round the client having a memorable “experience” with professional high quality service and care.
Kirsty has since moved to Christchurch for her family, Carolyn is now enjoying retirement, and so in 2023, Danielle made the decision to relocate the salon to a beautifully renovated space in her home. Still offering the same great services, and grateful to continue to do what she loves, Danielle looks forward to welcoming you to her space.

Danielle
Danielle loves styling hair with cut and colour. She has a true passion for making people feel great through hair and makeup.
She completed her training with Cut Above Academy in 2008, and also completed a 1 year course in Make-up Artistry.
After 7 years, Danielle relocated the salon she started with her twin sister, Kirsty and their mum to a beautifully converted space at her home, just 4 minutes from the original salon in High Street.
She looks forward to seeing you soon!
